meanwhile on my way back home
This little desi girl called me and my homegirls ghetto one night.(Can you believe it coming from another woman of color ) A title im proud to own up to, but when you use the word to attack me i will bite back. So in true “ghetto” fashion we choose not to acknowledge her idiocy…that night. Because this child is not worth our most prized and intimate reaction, our anger. Instead I choose to coexist. Until one night she decided to get beyond wasted and we walked her back home…(being that I was a friend of her roommate).. Well her friends walked her and I choose to tag along and humiliate her by taking selfies as she puked her brains out while being carried by a boy who was more annoyed than I was.
here you go hun humility at its finest. If you look close enough you see her being carried. You dont need to see her face. but this is important because she know who this is and hopefully she stumbles upon it one day.
They say you don’t get over someone until you find someone or something better. As humans, we don’t deal well with emptiness. Any empty space must be filled. Immediately. The pain of emptiness is too strong. It compels the victim to fill that place. A single moment with that empty spot causes excruciating pain. That’s why we run from distraction to distraction and from attachment to attachment.
How people in Richmond cool off when its 101 degrees outside!
